How To Pick an LED Panel

There are so many choices when it comes to LED panels. How do you choose between them? It all depends on what you are looking for. Here are some tips on how to choose your panels.

P2.5 vs P5 vs P10

P2.5

P2.5’s are great for high definition, close distance viewing. It’s one of the highest end LED’s available. It approximates the most the picture quality of a television. The optimal viewing distance is about 6-10 feet making them the best choice for front porch, deck, balcony and yard displays. Great for that summer movie on your deck or a photo collage of your child for the birthday party. Church stage displays can also be made with these depending on the ultimate viewing distance. With a density of 100 pixels per square inch of display area, you can display animated pictures like movies and videos while still maintaining beautifully the small details.

P5

P5’s are great for medium definition, medium distance viewing. It’s considered general purpose for most applications at distances greater than 15 feet up to about 50 feet. The optimal viewing distance is about 10-30 feet making them the display of choice for church venues, auditoriums, as well as front porches if meant to display holiday decorations for passersby. With a density of 25 pixels per square inch of display area, you can display animated pictures like movies and videos while still maintaining details. Words, however, can sometimes be problematic depending on the font and size.

P10

P10’s are great for long distance viewing, large size displays. The optimal viewing distance is about 30 to 150 feet depending on the display size making them great for stadium and concert venues. With a density of 9 pixels per square inch of display area, a bigger display is needed to maintain the same resolution needed to display animated pictures like movies and videos while still maintaining details.
